Earth Science

Earth Science is also known as geoscience. Earth science is an all-embracing term for the sciences related to the planet Earth. Any various sciences, as geography, geology, or meteorology, that deal with the Earth, its composition, or any of its changing aspects.

Geology, geography, oceanography/oceanology, meteorology and climatology, glaciology, astronomy are branches of Earth science

Geology is the science comprising the study of solid Earth, the rocks of which it is composed, and the processes by which it evolves. geology tackles about what Earth's surface features, what causes earthquakes and tsunami, why volcanoes form and erupt. In geology we can learn about minerals, building blocks of rocks, how rocks are made and destroyed.

Geography is the science that studies the lands, the features, the inhabitants, and the phenomena that is happening on Earth.

Oceanography is also called as oceanology. it is the study of the Earth's ocean. It covers a wide range of topics, including marine organisms, ocean currents, waves and the geology of the sea floor.

Meteorology and climatology. Meteorology is the study of the Earth's climate. It is the study of atmosphere,m it includes the study of weather patterns, clouds, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

Glaciology is the study of glaciers, massive rivers of ice found in the coldest place on Earth.

Astronomy. The science that deals with the study of celestial objects such as stars, planets, comets, nebulae, star clusters and galaxies and phenomena that originate outside the atmosphere of Earth.
